TotalEnergies opens Scottish offshore wind hub

With a new base in Aberdeen, the French giant plans to mark its shift from being a fossil player to a major one in renewables.

Earlier this year, French oil and gas supermajor Total rebranded to TotalEnergies, marking a shift for the company as it aspires to seize a leading position within offshore wind.

This move is solidified further by the oil giant's establishment of a British offshore wind office in Aberdeen, Scotland.
