Norwegian maritime operators create offshore wind alliance

Aker Solutions, Solstad Offshore and Deep Ocean form a new alliance as a one-stop shop for catering to the offshore wind industry.

Aiming to take a larger cut of the offshore wind market, three Norwegian companies Aker Solutions, Solstad Offshore and Deep Ocean have decided to set up an alliance titled Windstaller.

The partnership means to combine the companies' skills and thus become a comprehensive supplier to the offshore wind sector, offering both "product supply, fabrication and marine services".
