Global offshore wind hits 413GW

The world's offshore wind capacity, including both development-stage projects and commissioned facilities, has surpassed 413GW, shows a new report from interest group RenewableUK.

Global offshore wind capacity, both installed and under development, has exceeded 413GW, according to a report from sector interest group RenewableUK.

China tops the world in having the largest offshore wind pipeline of 64.4GW and is followed by the UK and the US, planning additions of 63.2GW and 40GW, respectively.
