Vestas sells 250MW wind project in US

The wind OEM will handle delivery, transport and commissioning of the turbines as well as a multi-year AOM 5000 service deal.

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas' wholly owned development firm in the US, Steelhead Americas, has sold a wind energy project of 250MW to an undisclosed customer, with Vestas as turbine supplier, the OEM writes in a statement.

The US wind project will encompass 59 V150-4.2MW units and one V110-2.0MW machine optimized for a 2.2MW effect.
