Lightsource BP targets 25GW by 2025

With a new credit facility of USD 1.8bn in place, BP's joint venture with Lightsource is planning to develop a project pipeline of more than 20GW.

Photovoltaics need to accelerate, asking Lightsource BP. The solar farm developer has announced a massive boost to its ambitions, now targeting a combined portfolio of 25GW installed by 2025, Lightsource BP informs in a statement.

Credit of USD 1.8bn is issued from 10 different financial institutions for use on developing projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Asia.
