Eurowind sends heavy artillery to the US

Through buying two projects of more than a gigawatt as an entry ticket, the project developer sets up shop in California. Tight management and willingness to take on smaller projects will help the company capture market share, says incoming country manager.

Danish project developer Eurowind is establishing itself in the US – and not just by cautiously dipping its toes in the water on the other side of the Atlantic, but rather by sending its big trump card to one the most promising yet also most complicated areas of the enormous market.

Eurowind's Danish country manager, Bo Schøler, who has been a key player in the domestic build-out for more than a decade, now departs for California to secure the company a US foothold.
