Early Sunday morning at the Port pf Grenaa, Western Denmark, onlookers could see a 166-meter-tall floating wind turbine towering over the quay, ready to be towed to a site close to Stavanger, Norway, reports Danish media TV2 Østjylland.
The 3.6MW turbine atop the foundation will be installed in a typically harsh marine environment located 10 kilometers from Norway's coast in waters 200 meters deep.
