European Energy extends cooperation with GE

The US manufacturer will supply 34 wind turbines to three new projects totaling 187MW under construction by the Danish project developer.

European Energy is planning three additional wind farms in Lithuania.

After announcing three projects with a combined capacity of 121MW back in November, that volume has now been more than doubled with three more projects, two in Telsiai and one in Rikoskis, totaling 187MW. After the new units enter operation, European Energy will operate a total of 56 GE wind turbines in the Baltic country, GE Renewable Energy informs in a statement.
