For many years, one of Vestas' hallmarks has been its habit of releasing a deluge of orders up to the quarter close.
This made the first quarter of 2021 noteworthy, as a series of unusually small supply deals were announced that could do little to mask that the period was a real dud, with the most meager order intake in six and a half years. This was followed up by a equally weak spring in April and May.
