CIP launches huge sustainability fund, reaches first close at EUR 800m

The Danish infrastructure developer is establishing a new sustainability fund targeting Power-to-X and several other next-generation clean energy technologies, and has reached its first close at EUR 800m, reports domestic business media Børsenpro.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is in the process of raising capital for a new major fund called CI Energy Transition Fund I, which has already reached its first close at EUR 800m but targets EUR 2.25bn, reports Danish business media Børsenpro.

According to the media, the new fund will invest in next-generation renewable energy technology such as Power-to-X.
