Vestas rounds 1 GW in a single week

The OEM receives a 384-MW order from Brazil and thereby passes 1 GW in incoming contracts this week.

Vestas announces the second large supply deal this week on Wednesday. An undisclosed customer has ordered 348 MW for a project in Brazil set for delivery and commissioning in 2023, after which the OEM will maintain the facility's 81 model V150-4.2 MW units for a five-year period.

Further details are not mentioned about the order, which is not only this year's second from Brazil but also from the whole of Latin America.
