Vestas wins order for 372 MW

The wind turbine manufacturer seals its largest order to date from Eastern Europe with an additional 62 Enventus units headed to a project in Ukraine.

With a supply deal for 372 MW, Vestas has fully secured its hitherto biggest Ukrainian order – and largest contract from Eastern Europe, for that matter.

Project developer DTEK thus renders the contract for 62 Enventus wind turbines of the V162-6.0 line firm and unconditional. The machines will be installed at wind complex Tiligul, thereby extending the facility's capacity to 498 MW. The first 126-MW phase was announced in March.
