Norwegian companies aim to win market using drones and AI

By combining the use of drones and artificial intelligence, Norway's Esmart Systems and Verico want to make power cable inspection safer and more reliable.

Two Norwegian companies Esmart Systems and Verico, with each their own specialization, are vying to make things easier for energy sector customers by meshing their skills and setting out to scale operations.

Verico will supplement Esmart's existing offers with field solutions for data collection, online visualization software and application programing interfaces (APIs) for integrating the industry's current systems as well as providing clientele with more detailed knowledge on inspections.
