Statkraft to build four solar farms in Spain

With investments of EUR 200m, the Norwegian utility plans to further accelerate its photovoltaic energy ambitions.

Statkraft wants more solar energy. Its goal of developing 8 GW in photovoltaic and wind energy by 2025 remains, and while there's been a recent focus on both Ireland and the Netherlands, the utility now pursues efforts in Spain, meaning to build four new solar farms.

The facilities will be placed within an eight-kilometer radius in the Cadiz region and have a total capacity of 234 MWp.
