Vestas gets big order from Brazil

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer collects a much-needed order from South America.

Vestas has taken in a supply contract for 212 MW from the Brazilian market.

Domestic independent power producer and developer Omega Energia has placed the order for 47 model V150-4.2 MW units, each optimized to achieve an effect of 4.5 MW, for a project called Assuruá 4.
