Vestas' cash machine is running at slower speed

The OEM's service business couldn't keep pace with preceding quarters. Vestas says integrating offshore wind is one the main factors behind the change.

Vestas' service division has gradually morphed into a veritable golden goose with high operating margins.

The unit has skyrocketed over the years which can be exemplified by having only accounted for 15.4 percent of the business in 2013. Since then the division has pretty much only moved forward – until now, that is.
