Siemens Energy to stabilize Irish grid in mega project

The German group will provide the key to major project Green Atlantic.

Siemens Energy has won an order for a so-called synchronous condenser system from Irish utility Electricity Supply Board (ESB).

The new system will be used for ESB's large-scale project Green Atlantic @ Moneypoint.
