Equinor secures 1.4 GW in Polish offshore wind

One month after Polish authorities awarded CfD allocations to Ørsted and RWE, the Norwegian oil company has now also received a tidy portion for its first projects alongside Polenergia.

Polish authorities have now allocated a total of 1.440 GW to Equinor and Polenergia's Contracts for Difference bids for the Norwegian-Polish duo's first two joint offshore wind farms, Bałtyk II og III.
