Vattenfall, Ørsted eye opportunities from US climate goals

The US' climate ambitions are met with praise from both the Swedish and Danish utilities.

Vattenfall and Ørsted both warmly receive the US' raised climate ambitions as presented late last week, reports Danish business daily Børsen.

"This will also create a great deal of opportunities because more countries, companies and organizations setting clear goals to reduce emissions sharpens focus on innovation and development of new business models within the green economy. So, this can be a factor in accelerating development," Vattenfall Chief Executive Anna Borg tells the media.
