European Energy is planning to develop two wind farms next year in Sweden with a combined effect of 86 MW. This has now materialized in an order for Siemens Gamesa, which is hired to supply 14 model 5.8-170 units, most of which will be delivered in a optimized 6.2-MW versions.
The Danish project developer and independent power producer has thus entered three contracts with Siemens Gamesa. These two companies also recently became mutually involved in an undertaking across the Baltic Sea in Poland.
