Siemens Gamesa wins 50-MW contract in Spain

The manufacturer has picked up a wind turbine deal from Capital Energy for 50 MW's worth of equipment for a big onshore wind project in Northern Spain.

Siemens Gamesa can now add yet another deal to its order book. This time entails 50 MW headed for Spanish onshore wind project Buseco. The order was placed by developer Capital Energy, reports sector media Renews.

Buseco, located in Northern Spain's Asturias principality, is projected to commission in mid-2022 and will feature 10 model SG 5.0-132 units which Siemens Gamesa will maintain for a 20-year period.
