Vestas launches offshore wind model at 15 MW

The OEM introduces a new offshore wind turbine platform with a 236-meter rotor. The model is fit for participation in all solicitations and will be ready to deploy in 2024.

Vestas has finally unveiled a new offshore wind turbine platform to counter its rivals' offerings.

On the day leading up to the turbine maker's annual financial report, a new offshore model with a basis capacity rating of 15 MW and a 236-meter rotor is revealed.
