Iberdrola buys into offshore wind projects totaling 3 GW

Spanish utility Iberdrola entered an agreement Friday to buy into an Irish portfolio of offshore wind projects set to feature a combined capacity of 3 GW, reports Bloomberg News.

The deal ensures Iberdrola a majority stake in the developments, purchased from DP Energy for an undisclosed price.
