Vestas has received a wind supply deal for 36 MW bound for a project in Scotland.

The order comes from independent power producer ERG for the second phase of the Sandy Knowe wind energy development.

The Danish company will deliver 10 model V112-3.45 MW units in optimized 3.6-MW versions.

A long-term AOM 5000 service agreement, the most extensive in Vestas' catalog, is also part of the package.

Delivery is set to begin in the third quarter of 2022.

Back in November, Vestas also won the deal for the project's first 50-MW phase.
