Taaleri Energia turns south for untapped potential in green energy investments

Poland, where 70 percent of electricity is reportedly generated in coal or lignite power plants, offers an attractive opportunity for renewable energy investments. Southeastern Europe also has plenty of untapped potential, says Taaleri Energia's head of Investor Relations.

Finnish wind and solar developer and fund manager Taaleri Energia expects its current investment pace to continue in 2021. Head of Investor Relations Stephen Ross tells EnergyWatch's sister media, AMWatch, that the company’s next wind and solar energy investments are likely to be found in Poland and Spain.

"The Taaleri SolarWind II fund has already committed to seven investments in the 18 months since its first close. With our extensive pipeline deal across our target markets we would expect this investment pace to continue in 2021," Ross says to AMWatch.
