
Sustainability-inclined investors already started to preemptively bank on a Democratic Party victory in Georgia Wednesday, sending stocks like Vestas and Ørsted into the air, and the further significance for such green spearheads is huge, says Chief Executive Jan Hylleberg from Danish trade association Wind Denmark, whose members include both Siemens Gamesa and Vestas.
"With yesterday's election result, at least a two-year period will follow during which the democratic agenda will have the chance of being unfolded. That line is markedly different than what we've seen in the last four years," Hylleberg says.
