Shipping group to scrap bulk freight in favor of green power and offshore wind

Monaco-based shipping company Scorpio Bulkers plans to change name as part of its strategy to exit the dry bulk market and instead go all in on the market for green energy and offshore wind.

Scorpio Bulkers is changing its name to Eneti as part of the company's farewell to dry bulk and hello to offshore wind, the Monaco-based company headed by Robert Bugbee informs in a press release.

The name change is subject to approval at an extraordinary general assembly in early February.
