Utility Ørsted has had a similar experience. In September 2019, British authorities postponed their response to the company's planning application for project Hornsea 3 by half a year. After a couple of Covid-19-related delays, however, it wasn't until last July that the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) brought news – in the form of another postponement with a response set for no later than Dec. 31.
