Vestas has secured an auction win for developments in Ireland. Wind turbines with a combined capacity of 63 MW will be installed at two projects owned by Norwegian utility Statkraft, Vestas informs in a statement Monday.
"This order underlines the strong cooperation between Statkraft and Vestas and we are proud to be part of our customer’s success in Ireland’s RESS 1 auction," writes Nils de Baar, president of Vestas Northern & Central Europe, in the media release.
