
Taken in isolation, Germany's most recent onshore wind tender result gives some cause for celebration.
For the first time in a year and only the second instance in the last 15 solicitations, the bids outnumbered tendered capacity in scale. In fact, the German Federal Network Agency, Bundesnetzagentur, received offers for 657 MW, or almost twice the figure up for allocation, which resulted in roughly 400 MW more alloted than otherwise planned.
