During this last month, Vestas has reaped supply deals for almost 1 GW from Brazil. The latest batch comes from European Energy and Eólica Tecnologia and pertains to two projects Ouro Branco I and Quatro Ventos in the state of Pernambuco. Combined, the OEM will deliver 94.5 MW consisting of 21 model V150-4.2 MW units supplied in power-optimized 4.5-MW versions.
"The projects will be equipped with the newest technology from Vestas' 4-M platform. They are completely adjusted to harvest the full potential from the great winds of Pernambuco for conversion into clean energy for the people's use," says Vestas Brazil Sales Director Eric Gomes.
