
Swedish power company Rabbalshede Kraft has historically sent its wind turbine orders to Vestas. However, for the developer's three forthcoming wind farms, with installation set to commence in the first quarter of next year, Siemens Gamesa has taken over a share of that role.
The German-Spanish OEM will supply units for three of the two facilities, with a combined capacity of 66 MW, while Vestas must settle for a smaller allotment of 34 MW, the utility informs in a press release.
