Keppel to build large wind vessel in the US

Shipbuilder Keppel Offshore & Marine has secured an order in the US for building a large offshore wind installation vessel. The order amounts to around SGD 600 million.

Shipbuilding firm Keppel Offshore & Marine has secured a major job in the US building a wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV).

The order totals to around SGD 600 million (USD 453 million) and entails that Keppel will handle construction of the WTIV, which was ordered by US utility Dominion Energy for expected delivery in 2023.
