Siemens Gamesa loans EUR 300 million for R&D

The German-Spanish OEM has secured EUR 300 million in credit to finance the group's innovation strategy, with research and development efforts taking place in Denmark and Spain.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has extended a credit facility worth EUR 300 million to Siemens Gamesa, the latter informs in a press statement.

The money will be spent on research and development as well as for supporting the manufacturer's innovation strategy ahead of 2023. This will mainly concern R&D centers in Denmark's Aalborg and Brande and at three Spanish sites, Navarra, Vizcaya and Madrid.
