Norwegian project developer Fred Olsen Renewables has plans to take an even large share of the domestic offshore wind market and thus forms a partnership with the country's second-largest power generator, Hafslund Eco, to accelerate operations.
These two players will initially apply for licenses to develop two offshore wind projects, Utsira Nord and Sørlige Nordsjø, which will open to concession applications from Jan. 1, 2021.
