Macquarie goes shopping on Romanian market

Czech utility Cez Group sells its Romanian assets, including 622 MW in renewable energy and a grid company, to Macquarie.

13 months ago, Cez Group started seeking a buyer for its assets in Romania.

Now, the Czech company announces its entry into an agreement on selling to funds managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA). The sale encompasses seven companies within power grids, energy supply with electricity and gas and, not least, a portfolio of renewable energy at 622 MW.
