Thomas Brostrøm makes a switch from Ørsted to one of the utility's direct competitors. Going forward, the Danish company's US country lead and chief executive of offshore wind in the US of roughly five years will be part of Shell's division for renewable energy, New Energies, in a newly established position titled Senior Vice President Global Renewable Solutions, encompassing both the solar and wind businesses of the oil firm.
"I am delighted that Thomas is joining the Shell team.
