Vestas upgrades Enventus platform

The Danish wind OEM has made some changes and is now able to get 6 MW out of its Enventus turbines.

Vestas has succeeded in upping the capacity of its modular onshore wind platform, Enventus.

The turbines have gone from per-unit ratings of 5.6 MW to now 6 MW. The upgrade was made based on load assessments and hardware upgrades to generator, transmission and cooling systems.
