Nordex bags order for 297 MW from unnamed US customer

Nordex will deliver 62 turbines to a wind farm set for construction in the US Midwest.

In late September, German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex secured an order totaling 297 MW from an unidentified US customer, the company writes in a statement Tuesday morning CET.

Nordex will deliver 62 N149 units modified to hold a capacity of 4.8 MW, up from their original 4.0-4.5 MW.
