Spanish utility Iberdrola now enters Japan's offshore wind market, which is currently attracting a great number of the world's major players, by acquiring a stake in a portfolio of offshore wind farms being developed by Australia's Macquarie Group.
In total, Iberdrola and Macquarie will collaborate on developing six offshore wind farms with a combined effect of 3.3 GW, writes Bloomberg News.
