Cable manufacturer seeks to lower price of green hydrogen

French cable company Nexans is in the process of developing a transmission line capable of channeling both electricity and hydrogen, potentially making H2 made from offshore wind power and water markedly cheaper. However, the promising concept has a chemical hurdle to overcome, says developer, though it could be ready in a handful of years, once European energy islands shoot up.
