Apple data center in Denmark to run on solar and wind

Tech giant Apple plans to run a data center in Denmark on solar and wind power, with European Energy running the projects.

A solar farm near Denmark's northern Thisted and two newly established giant wind turbines from MHI Vestas near Esbjerg on the west coast will deliver green electricity for IT giant Apple's data center near Viborg, Western Denmark.

The two projects are managed by domestic developer European Energy, Apple informs Ritzau.
