
Ørsted almost managed to steer clear of the grip of the global Covid-19 crisis. The utility itself highlights that the pandemic has had a limited impact of around DKK 150 million (EUR 20.1 million).
Although the bottom line in the second quarter doesn't immediately reflect an unaffected company with its DKK 825 million deficit, the 11-percent rise in the operating result, EBITDA, to DKK 9.76 billion for the first half of 2020 indicates that business is doing fine.
