KK Wind secures contract with MHI Vestas

The A.P. Møller-owned wind energy company just secured Taiwanese contracts with both of the large offshore OEMs.

MHI Vestas continues to announce localization contracts in Taiwan. This time, however, with participation from the Danish part of the offshore wind turbine manufacturer, as KK Wind Solution has just been selected as supplier for several power conversion modules (PCM) and UPS systems, informs MHI Vestas.

In 2018, KK Wind was was nominated as preferred supplier for the control systems for Siemens Gameasa's Taiwanese farms. In May, this was turned into a firm order, which also led the A.P. Møller-owned wind supplier to build its own factory in the Port of Taichung.
