CIP expects solid floating wind market in late 2020s

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners is keeping a close eye on the development of floating wind, as it opens new possibilities. But it will be some years before the market matures, partner predicts.

The offshore wind industry has grown hastily in Europe, Asia and the US in recent years, and several companies have noticed the growth opportunities present within floating offshore wind as well.

This applies to players like fund manager Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), which in 2018 entered into a collaboration with US-based Magellan on developing floating wind off the US west coast.
