Vestas and Siemens Gamesa top consolidated wind market

A new report from GWEC ranking the world's top 15 wind turbine manufacturers in 2019 shows that second and third switched places.

Vestas remained the world's largest wind turbine producer last year, while Siemens Gamesa took over second place from Chinese Goldwind, which moved down to number three.

This occurred in a record-large market, with 22,893 units installed with a combined capacity of 63 GW – but also in a market showing clear signs of development, shows a new report from the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC).
