GE secures orders for four Turkish wind farms

The US wind turbine manufacturer secures orders totaling 52 turbines for four Turkish wind farms with partner Fina Enerji.

Turkish Fina Enerji has chosen GE to supply 52 of the US manufacturer's 3 MW wind turbines to four onshore wind farms in Turkey, informs GE.

The wind farms have a total capacity of 193 MW, and GE subsidiary LM Wind Power, which is based in Bergama, Izmir, is set to provide both the blades and towers.
