MHI Vestas signs second localization deal in Taiwan

The offshore wind turbines manufacturer enters a deal with Swancor to buy a series of materials locally for its blade production in Taiwan.

MHI Vestas has signed a local sourcing agreement with Taiwanese company Swancor to buy several components for wind turbine blade production, MHI Vestas states in a press release.

The contract entails, MHI Vestas writes, a large proportion of materials for its combined production, thereby exceeding Taiwan's localization requirements.
