Senvion sells Indian subsidiary

The German wind OEM has entered a deal to sell its Indian subsidiary to an undisclosed investor.

Last year, crisis-stricken German wind turbine maker Senvion decided to spin off its Indian subsidiary as an independent operational unit.

This allowed Senvion India to function independently of the insolvent parent company and sign new orders for turbines and service.
