Ørsted wins support for British hydrogen project

Along with its partners, the Danish utility has now received aid to carry out phase two of its Gigastack hydrogen project.

Ørsted and several of its partners have received a subsidy pledge from the UK's government to move forward with the second phase of a green hydrogen initiative.

The development, dubbed Gigastack, will demonstrate how H2 made via offshore wind energy can support Britain's goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2050.
